Episode #335: You Were Born Creative - So What Happened?

Published 3 weeks ago
Description
Watch a child explore the world and you’ll notice something: they rarely worry about whether they’re doing it “right.” They build, take things apart, ask endless questions, experiment, imagine, and create simply because they’re curious.

Then adulthood happens.

We become focused on responsibilities, productivity, expectations, and whether something is practical or useful. Somewhere along the way, many of us stop exploring simply because something interests us.

But creativity isn’t limited to painting, music, or traditional art. Creativity shows up when you teach, cook, decorate, solve a problem, build a business, write, garden, rearrange a room, or find a new way of doing something. It’s part of how we express ourselves and interact with life.

Personal growth sometimes means giving yourself permission to become curious again.

What would you try if you didn’t have to be good at it? What interests have you dismissed because they seemed impractical, silly, or “not you”? What might bring you joy simply because you enjoy doing it?

You don’t have to turn every interest into a talent, career, or side hustle.

Sometimes the purpose of creating is simply to feel more alive.

Maybe fulfillment isn’t always about finding something new.

it’s about rediscovering the curious, creative part of you that was there all along.

May this conversation be beneficial to your life journey. Many blessings!
