Around 100 Singapore businesses have been caught up in the country's largest investigation into fake reviews, with AI allegedly used to make bogus testimonials appear more authentic. Susan Ng and Hairianto Diman speak with Kho Qin Yao, Director, Fair Trading Practices, Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore, to examine how widespread review manipulation has become, whether consumers can still spot the fakes and what platforms need to do to restore trust.
