Thirteen-year-old Madeline “Maddie” Soto was found dead in the woods of St. Cloud, Florida in March 2024. She was reported missing in late February. Her mother’s boyfriend, Stephan Sterns, admitted to sexually abusing Maddie, however would only plead no contest to her murder. Jenn Soto, Maddie’s mother, has never been charged with any crime related to the case, however speculation about her behavior, interviews, and reactions after Maddie was reported missing, has many outraged.
