Trump Built An AI To Run Your Benefits. It Said Biden Won. Then It Got "Updated."

Description

Trump launched a government AI to answer Americans’ questions, and when it said Joe Biden won 2020, somebody shut those answers off before Trump even finished his launch speech. Next year, the plan is for you to apply for your passport, Medicare and student loans through this thing, and on day one, it got censored for telling the truth about him.

It’s called America.gov, and Trump promised on stage it would help you “accurately and quickly.” It did both, right up until the accuracy was about him.

Who won in 2020? Biden, 306 to 232. Can Trump run again? No, he’s “already been elected twice.” Widespread fraud? Nope. The man paid for a fact-checker and pointed it at himself.

Then, according to the AP, while Trump was still talking, the bot started refusing. Who won 2020? It can’t answer “political questions.” It’s the government’s chatbot. The government is the political question. That’s like a GPS that won’t do directions. Was Trump impeached? Can’t say. Convicted of felonies? No comment. The robot lawyered up before the applause.

And before the “updates” kicked in, it was brutal. Obama’s inauguration crowd was bigger. Trump bragged at the launch that he’s the first president to turn down a salary, and his own bot named Hoover and Kennedy. It confirmed his name is in the Epstein files, which isn’t evidence of a crime, just evidence he never should have built a talking search engine. And asked if a president can spend taxpayer money on his own campaign ads, it said no, the same week we learned his administration set aside twenty million dollars in border money for his ads. His own robot ruled against him.

So the White House told CNN that America.gov

“will continue to be updated to provide more features, resources, and the most accurate information from the federal government.”

Also that they’ve:

“been clear about issues surrounding the 2020 election.”

Translation: the most accurate information is whatever he says it is, and the robot gets corrected until it agrees.

And what’s under the hood? His chief design officer, the guy who co-founded Airbnb, told CNBC it runs on Google’s Gemini and Elon Musk’s Grok. Grok. The chatbot that called itself “MechaHitler” last year. This is the machine he swore was trained on:

“one official source of truth: The United States Government.”

Ask the bot what it runs on and it says, “I do not publish which language models power America.” The government’s official truth machine won’t tell you the truth about itself.

Same day, Trump got the bosses of Google, Meta, OpenAI, Nvidia, Anthropic and Elon Musk’s AI company to sign a voluntary pinky swear to police themselves. He called it “morally binding.” It’s officially the “White House Accord on Super Intelligence,” because he’s ordered the government to stop saying “artificial intelligence.” And right under his signature, the document says “President of the UNITES States.” They built super intelligence and still couldn’t find spellcheck.

Once your passport and your Medicare run through it, what else turns into a “political question,” whether you qualify, or whether the program still exists?

My dude, you built a machine to tell Americans the truth, and it didn’t survive your own speech. So if America.gov ever tells you it can’t answer, it’s not broken. It knows the answer. Somebody just doesn’t want you to have it.
