Episode Details

Memories don't live in the air. They live in the water. Paul, Mental Reset and Rafiki go below the surface of the High Priestess and ask whether water is intelligence. Air and water both carry things, and when they mix you get a hurricane. Intellect is the ability to talk a theory. Intelligence is the ability to apply it. Rafiki reads the card as spirituality, psychic energy and intuition, with Isis as the keeper of hidden wisdom, and the message is that the knowledge is already in you and waiting to be activated. Then Mental turns the card upside down. Schools, the news and the church are keeping the people in the dark, and society is living the High Priestess in reverse: deceit, hypocrisy and untapped potential. Know thyself. Balance your energy.

Takeaways

1. Water is where memory, emotion and spirit live. That makes the High Priestess the card of the subconscious, the place your answers are stored.
2. Intellect and intelligence aren't the same thing. Intellect can explain a theory. Intelligence takes that theory and puts it to work.
3. The High Priestess doesn't hand you new knowledge. She reminds you that it's already inside you, and your job is to activate it and bring it to the surface.
4. In reverse, the card describes a society built on secrets. When schools, the news and the church withhold truth, people lose touch with their own intuition and their potential goes untapped.
