Americans say "sorry" all the time. In this slow English lesson, I explain some of the reasons Americans might say "sorry" and there are some reasons you might not realize. We don't just say "sorry" in English when something is our fault, we also say "sorry" when we hope things will get better for you, like, if you are going through a difficult time.
