Humans have been eating cannabis for a long damn time, and while this comes as no surprise to you dear listener, how they consumed might surprise you.  Tea, yes tea.  The warming beverage infused with cannabis was thought to cure disease, treat common ailments, prepare warriors for battle and stoke the fire for newlyweds and was used 4000 years ago.  Not much has changed has it?  This brief history of edibles starts in ancient India and makes its way to San Francisco in the 50's and 60's where some tough, enterprising women introduced the edible into mainstream culture.  Thanks to people who came before us, we can now make edibles in our own kitchens and with a variety never thought possible before.  But why not go real old school and try one of the Bhang recipes shared below.  Nothing calls for a warm cup of tea like the gusty nights of October.
