Why Most People Get Surrender Wrong

Episode 91 Published 9 hours ago
Description

What does it actually mean to surrender in a Dom/sub relationship—and is the submissive really the only person surrendering?

In this conversation, I sit down with  @Andy_Wells to explore surrender, dominance, submission, trust, vulnerability, and what it actually takes to create a D/s dynamic where someone feels safe enough to let go.

We challenge the idea that being a Dom means always being strong, certain, in control, or having all the answers. Instead, we talk about how honesty, competence, communication, self-awareness, and the willingness to receive can make someone a stronger Dominant.

We also get into why some highly independent, capable people are drawn to submission; how to gradually build trust instead of demanding it; the difference between confidence and pretending to know what you're doing; why both Doms and subs need boundaries; and how sustainable power exchange is built together over time.
