I scored a 152 my first LSAT. Got to a 175. I've been teaching this test since 2005.

September 2026 LSAT scores are out, and a lot of people are asking whether LSAC messed up their score. LSAC's own numbers say more than 150 score audits last testing year found zero scoring errors. The bigger problem is the clock: November registration closes Thursday, October 1st, the day after scores, and November is the last LSAT of 2026.
I go through what to do before Thursday night: the writing-sample hold that can delay your score, audit vs complaint vs Score Preview, a 10-minute keep-or-retake rule, what a second score and a cancel actually cost, and the 509 number that tells you whether a retake is worth your fall.
