Craig Allen Smith Becomes Mrs. Doubtfire! The Hit Musical Comes to Detroit.
Description
Helloooooo, Detroit! 👵🔥
Mrs. Doubtfire is coming to the Motor City — and Craig Allen Smith is stepping into one of musical theatre’s most beloved (and demanding!) transformations!
Craig Allen Smith joins The Roundtable with Robert Bannon to talk about taking on Daniel Hillard AND his unforgettable alter ego, Mrs. Doubtfire, in the touring production of the hit Broadway musical.
We talk about the transformation into Euphegenia Doubtfire, the comedy, the costumes, the heart underneath all those laughs, and what it takes to make such an iconic character his own eight times a week. Plus, Craig gives us the scoop on life on the road and bringing this big, hilarious musical to Detroit!
Based on the beloved film, Mrs. Doubtfire features a score by Wayne Kirkpatrick and Karey Kirkpatrick, a book by Karey Kirkpatrick and John O’Farrell, and a story about family, second chances, and just how far one dad will go to stay close to his kids.
From Daniel to Doubtfire and everything that happens in between, Craig Allen Smith is here — and we have LOTS to talk about!
🎠Catch Mrs. Doubtfire when the national tour comes to Detroit!
