A Reflection for When We Forget the Good While We’re Fighting 

Sometimes it’s hard to remember what’s good about someone when we’re fighting with them.

Israel was in a period of all-out war when Saul remembered the kindness one of his opponents had previously shown Israel.

He gave them the opportunity to withdraw from the battle, and their lives were spared. (1 Samuel 15:6)

How many destructive conflicts might we prevent if we remember the best about each other?
