Episode Details

Auburn football slow starts have become the thing I am watching closest as the Tigers get ready to go to Tennessee. Auburn has found ways to win football games, and I am not going to apologize for appreciating that. The ball has bounced Auburn's way a couple of times this season after spending years watching those same breaks go the other direction. Take the win. Celebrate it. But Alex Golesh is right about one thing. Winning cannot hide what Auburn still has to fix, and this offense taking this long to find a rhythm is at the top of my list.

Auburn cannot go to Neyland Stadium and spend the first quarter trying to figure out how to play offense.

That is asking for trouble.

This is not only about scoring points either.

Sustain a drive.

Flip the field.

Give the defense time to breathe.
