Together, they wrestle with why Christians can become obsessed with someone else’s “oil,” whether we sometimes romanticize the wilderness, and why following Jesus was never a promise that life would become easy.

Sometimes the other side isn't a change in circumstances. Sometimes it's discovering that Jesus is still Jesus in the middle of them.
