Our Miss Brooks - "The First Aid Course (AFRS)" (Old Time Radio, 1951)
Published 2 weeks, 3 days ago
Description
Our Miss Brooks presents “The First Aid Course” (AFRS), originally broadcast on June 3, 1951. Cataloged as episode 134, this surviving unedited AFRS rebroadcast stars Eve Arden as Madison High’s ever-resourceful English teacher, Connie Brooks.
When Miss Brooks is pressed into taking over Miss Enright’s first-aid course, she must first prove she can handle an emergency herself. With Jeff Chandler as Mr. Boynton and Gale Gordon as Principal Osgood Conklin, the episode turns a reluctant classroom assignment into a lively comic test of nerves and know-how. Written by Al Lewis and produced by Larry Berns for CBS.
Old Time Retro Radio presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
