Back to EpisodesEp 238: The 2026 Faire Shop Audit: 3 Listing Fixes That Get You Reordered
Description
Pull up your Faire orders and count how many retailers have bought from you more than once. If it's one or two out of every 20, you don't have a product problem. You have a listing problem. In this episode, Andee walks through a quick three-part audit of your Faire shop: what a retailer sees, what she reads, and how easy it is for her to buy again. Your first order is an audition. The reorder is the sale that builds a wholesale business.
Key Takeaways
• Your first order is an audition. A retailer decides whether to reorder based on how your product sold, and how it sold starts with how clearly your listing helped her place it.
• Your first product image needs scale and context. Add a book, shelf, or styled accent so she knows the size, and style it so she knows how to merchandise it without the props stealing the show.
• Write descriptions in the retailer's search language. "8 oz soy candle gift under $30" gets found. "Whispering Meadow" does not. Then tell her who buys it, where to display it, and when to stock up.
• Make reordering the easiest purchase of her week. Use case packs of 4 to 6 where your category allows, set a reorder minimum slightly lower than your opening minimum, and put "Best Seller" in your product titles.
• Audit your top listing this week. Count your repeat retailers again in 90 days.
The 3-Question Audit
1. Does my first product image show scale and context for a retailer?
2. Does my product description tell her exactly who this product is for and how it sells?
3. Can she reorder one bestseller easily, without buying the whole line?
