Thriving Kids program replaces NDIS for young children
Published 1 week ago
Description
Children aged eight and under with autism or developmental delays will be diverted from the NDIS to a new program called Thriving Kids, beginning a staged rollout through to January 2028. The initiative doesn't require formal diagnosis and will provide support through parent peer groups, supported play groups, and allied health interventions. Existing NDIS participants will remain on their current plans until the full implementation is complete in 2028.
