Mental health can be a difficult subject to discuss in agriculture, where the pressures of farm life, family legacy and rural isolation are often deeply personal. But a new six-part scripted series is taking a different approach—using entertainment and storytelling to open the door to conversations that can sometimes be difficult to start.

Perfect Sundays is a six-episode series created by Sam Goldberg, with actor Jim Parrack among those involved in bringing the story to life. The project grew out of their earlier work on Silo, a feature film about a grain entrapment accident.
