ALERT: Auburn Football Offense Has No Rhythm | TWT P6 | Auburn Football Podcast

Published 4 days, 10 hours ago
Description

WARNING: Auburn football is 3 and 1, but the Tigers cannot allow winning close games to hide what is happening offensively.

This offense has no rhythm.

The conversation about Auburn's running backs is getting louder. Should Jeremiah Cobb get more carries? Should another back become RB1? Is Byrum Brown actually Auburn's most dangerous runner?

Those questions are worth discussing, but they might be missing the larger problem.

Auburn has to build an offense around the personnel it actually has.

If the offensive line is struggling in both pass protection and run blocking, Alex Golesh and the Auburn staff have to find ways to compensate. Get the football out faster. Create opportunities on the perimeter. Put defenders in conflict. Use Cobb's speed differently. Take advantage of Brown's ability as a runner.

Auburn cannot simply line up, announce what it wants to do and expect to overpower SEC defenses if the offensive line cannot consistently win those matchups.
