9-29-26 Hour 1 - You can win with "good enough"/Nuggets Media Day/Steph & LeBron media day faux pas
Published 2 weeks, 4 days ago
Description
0:00 - The Chicago Bears rolled into Philly with a 3rd string QB named Case Keenum, and won a Monday Night Football game. By double digits! And it got Brett thinking...in the right scenario with the right team and the right scheme, you can win with a QB who's "good enough." Sometimes good enough is, well, good enough.
15:16 - Yesterday was Nuggets Media Day! Brett noticed a common refrain from Ben Tenzer, Jon Wallace, and David Adelman. They all echoed the same point about the offseason and their lack of major changes to the roster. Brett says it's close...but all 3 of them missed the mark.
33:35 - Steph Curry spoke at Warriors media day and seemed...unrealistic about the expectations for his team. LeBron James told the media in Philly straight up that he wanted to play for the Knicks before signing with the 76ers. Maybe keep that one inside, LeBron. Don't say the quiet part out loud.
