From Dazed and Confused to The Walking Dead: Shawn Andrews Is Here!
Description
Shawn Andrews is here!
For generations of movie fans, Andrews will forever be part of one of the most beloved coming-of-age films ever made. He starred as Kevin Pickford in Richard Linklater’s Dazed and Confused, joining an unforgettable ensemble in the 1993 cult classic that continues to find new audiences more than three decades later.
Now, Shawn is stepping into another massive pop-culture universe with AMC’s The Walking Dead: Dead City — and he has plenty to talk about!
Shawn joins Robert Bannon on The Roundtable for a wide-ranging conversation about his journey as an actor, the incredible staying power of Dazed and Confused, and what it means to have been part of a movie that became such an enduring piece of film history.
He also talks about returning to the screen and entering the world of The Walking Dead, taking on a new role in Dead City, and becoming part of a franchise with one of the most devoted fan communities in television.
But there is much more to Shawn Andrews than the roles audiences know him from.
Shawn and Robert also dig into his music, creativity, life away from Hollywood, and the experiences that have shaped the artist he is today. It’s an open conversation about looking back without living in the past, continuing to create, and embracing the unexpected turns a career can take.
From the halls and parties of Dazed and Confused to the dangerous world of The Walking Dead, Shawn Andrews continues to write his own story.
