ALERT: Auburn Has a MAJOR O Line Problem | TWT P5 |Auburn Football Podcast

Description

ALERT: Auburn football has a problem that is becoming impossible to ignore.

The offensive line has to get better.

Auburn found a way to beat Vanderbilt and move to 3 and 1, but the Tigers are entering a brutal stretch of SEC football with an offense that still has major issues in both the running and passing games.

The rushing attack needs more diversity. Auburn continues to hammer between the tackles despite struggling to consistently create running lanes. When Jeremiah Cobb gets opportunities on the perimeter, his speed gives the offense another dimension. Pair that with the threat of Byrum Brown keeping the football and suddenly the defense has multiple things it has to respect.

Auburn needs more of that.

But scheme can only solve so much.

The offensive line remains a major concern, and Auburn will eventually have to address whether this unit has enough talent to execute what Alex Golesh wants his offense to be. If Auburn wants to be a physical downhill running team, it needs offensive linemen capable of consistently creating those opportunities.
