Episode Details

Were you a sinner before you ever committed a sin? Dr. Abel Damina teaches that sin was passed down as a nature, not just learned behavior — "it's not because people are sinning that they are sinners, it's because they are sinners that they are sinning." Working through Romans 5, he explains the principle of corporate headship: humanity was represented in Adam, just as believers are now represented in Christ. "If you are in Christ, you are in the generation of the righteous," he says. This episode of Reintroducing Jesus, Beyond Religion helps you see your standing before God as tied to who you belong to, not your own performance.
