Charles invites special guests Rod from The Black Guy Who Tips Podcast and Dpalm from the Unanimous Decision Podcast to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the original Transformers The Movie that premiered in 1986. We remember our earliest childhood memories with the film and how it introduced a generation of children to existential dread! Despite its cynical goal of selling more toys by killing off the old ones, this movie introduced many of us to the concept of real stakes in storytelling. And we love it! We also take a look at the new short Optimus Prime: Awakening and the final performance of the late, great Peter Cullen.
