Episode Details

The Miami Dolphins are 0-3 after falling 24-10 to the Kansas City Chiefs — but for the first time this season, there might actually be reasons to feel encouraged about this team.

On this episode of Battered Phins Fans, we're breaking down Miami's loss to Kansas City and why this one felt different from the first two weeks.

The Dolphins competed. They showed some fight. And even though the final result was another loss, Miami looked like a much better football team than what we saw during the first two games of the season.

We'll discuss what we liked, what still needs to improve, and what this performance means for our expectations moving forward.

We'll also talk about Jacob Rodriguez, who continues to look like he could be a major piece of Miami's future.

Unfortunately, the biggest story coming out of the game is a devastating one: De'Von Achane suffered a torn ACL and will miss the remainder of the season.

What does losing Achane mean for Miami's offense? Who steps up in his absence? And how much does the injury change what we're hoping to see from the Dolphins over the rest of 2026?

Miami is 0-3. Nobody wants moral victories. But after what we saw against Kansas City, are you feeling any better about the direction of this team?

Let us know how YOU feel about the Dolphins after three weeks.
