According to ABC News, a British government minister cautioned that information provided by a whistleblower or tipster regarding an alleged security plot connected to RAF Fairford may represent only part of what investigators are examining. The comments come as authorities continue investigating a case involving the Royal Air Force base used by U.S. military aircraft. 

Andrew Bailey, the former Missouri attorney general who joined the FBI in 2025 in the newly created role of co-deputy director, is stepping down after about a year in the position. Bailey, the former Missouri attorney general who became an FBI co-deputy director in 2025, is resigning and returning to Missouri for family reasons. His departure marks another leadership shift at the FBI and leaves the future of the bureau's unusual co-deputy-director structure uncertain.
