Lemon LIVE at 5: This MAGA Candidate's Racist And Vile Posts Are Beyond Disturbing
Description
A Republican nominee for statewide office in Texas is under fire after CNN's KFile uncovered since-deleted social media posts in which Bo French repeatedly called for the public execution of political opponents, including former President Barack Obama.
French, the Republican nominee for the Texas Railroad Commission, has also faced condemnation over inflammatory comments about race, immigration and religion.
Don is joined by former Ohio State Senator Nina Turner and anti-racism educator and author Tim Wise to examine French's rhetoric, the backlash from members of his own party, and what his candidacy says about the state of American politics.
