Author Andy Weir has taken on the role of executive producer for a new Audible Original science fiction project titled Exoplanet. Written by Benjamin Percy, the story depicts a shipwrecked crew struggling to survive on a treacherous alien world while separated by different timelines. The audio drama features a high-profile cast including Anthony Mackie, Ariana DeBose, and John Leguizamo. Weir noted that the narrative’s focus on scientific problem-solving and communication across centuries makes it uniquely suited for an auditory experience. The production is enhanced by an original score and immersive sound design from Skywalker Sound. Fans can expect the title to debut on November 5, 2026.
