Episode Details

Texas survives a brutal trip to Knoxville, but the biggest conversation coming out of the game is the criticism surrounding Arch Manning.

There’s been a growing opinion that Arch simply hasn’t been playing well enough and that his performances haven’t lived up to the massive expectations placed on him. But I completely disagree with that assessment. When you actually look at what Arch has done, especially while leading the No. 1 team in the country through a difficult schedule, I think he’s been far more impressive than people are giving him credit for.

We break down Arch’s performance against Tennessee, the plays that stood out, the areas where he can still improve, and why I think the “Arch is struggling” narrative is being pushed way too far.

Texas continues to win, Arch continues to make big plays, and the Longhorns just picked up another major ranked victory in one of the toughest environments in college football.

So is Arch Manning actually struggling, or have expectations become so high that a good performance now gets treated like a bad one? That’s the debate we’re getting into.
