Evan and Uncle Greg Durbin talk about a big weeding job that came back to bite: why weeds return after a full cleanup, and how to set client expectations and pricing so you don't take the blame. Evan's Toro Multiforce hits 3,100 hours with electrical trouble heading into snow season. The guys also browse live government auctions to see whether a used 2500 or 250 is the smarter lawn care truck. Plus, they cover the underrated Cub Cadet, how a Segway cuts Greg's lot blowing from 20 minutes to 5, Ballard Hybrid Gold blades, rising gas prices, 2027 price increases, and a record-wet fall hammering lawn companies in Iowa.
Headed to Equip Expo 2026? Register with code TURFNERDS. Then RSVP for the free Real Lawns, Real People Meet & Eat on October 22 at 5:30 PM at Derby City Pizza in Louisville.
