208: The Corruptor w/ Tom Lorenzo
Published 4 years, 8 months ago
Description
Tom Lorenzo (You're Missing Out Podcast) joins us to talk about our second and final Mark Wahlberg film of 1999, THE CORRUPTOR.
We discuss why James Foley was a terrible choice to direct this movie, and how a filmmaker like John Woo, to whom this movie owes a large debt, would have made something out of it. We also compare Wahlberg's performance and use in this movie to that of Three Kings, where he is showcased in a much more flattering light.
