246: The Red Violin with Norm Wilner
Published 4 years ago
Description
This week on 1999, Norm Wilner joins us to talk about The Red Violin!
Following a seemingly cursed violin throughout the ages, we talk about how important this film was for Canadian cinema, how the academy goes about nominating a film for best score, and what it is that we want as audience members, is it concrete answers about the film’s concepts and world? Or is it that we want something to talk and think about for weeks to come.
