We are responsible for the light we know

Published 1 week, 2 days ago
Description

A 6-year-old and a 17-year-old have different levels of responsibility when it comes to their parents. A 6-year-old can drop a plate of food, and the parents may laugh, but if the 17-year-old does the exact same thing, the parents may say, "You should know better." In the same way, this principle applies in the spiritual realm. As you are learning the things of God, you are accountable for what you know at the moment. As you mature, God holds you more and more accountable for the things you are learning. We should not live in fear that we are missing something. We should simply continue to grow and mature. As we know more, we do better. Instead of worrying about what we do not know at the moment, we should focus on doing the things we know are right.
