Father killed in alleged deliberate car attack

A 50-year-old father was fatally struck by a car outside his home in Fernvale, west of Brisbane, in what police are treating as a deliberate attack. His 45-year-old partner was arrested and taken into custody for questioning, with no charges yet laid. Security guard Kyle Wilford, who has medical training, performed CPR at the scene, but the man could not be saved despite efforts from paramedics, the LifeFlight chopper and multiple ambulances.
