Resident Evil Has Seven Secret Installments Movie Fans Have Never Heard Of
Published 1 week ago
Description
This episode highlights a collection of seven Resident Evil novels authored by S.D. Perry that expand the franchise beyond its cinematic and gaming origins. While five of these books provide detailed prose adaptations of the classic video games, two installments offer entirely original storylines that explore new locations and characters. These literary works, published between 1998 and 2004, allow fans to experience the survival horror and Umbrella conspiracies through a more intimate narrative format. The source also mentions a 2026 movie reboot directed by Zach Cregger, suggesting that the books serve as excellent companion material for new viewers. By exploring these "forgotten" adventures, audiences can gain a deeper understanding of the biological horror that defines the series.
