En: In the golden morning of a crisp autumn day, the botanische tuin shimmered in the radiant sun.
En: The leaves rustled gently, and the air was filled with the sweet scent of fall.
En: Amidst this display of colors stood Bram, Els, and Koen, looking at a giant pumpkin maze.
En: "Today I will lead you," said Bram with an adventurous gleam in his eyes.
En: "We will find the exit without needing a map."
Nl: Els fronste en hield de plattegrond in haar hand.
En: Els frowned and held the map in her hand.
En: "Maybe we should look at the signs," she suggested.
Nl: Maar Bram wuifde haar zorgen weg.
En: But Bram waved away her concerns.
Nl: "Ik kan dit," zei hij zelfverzekerd.
En: "I can do this," he said confidently.
Nl: Ze stapten samen de doolhof in.
En: They stepped into the maze together.
En: High walls of bright orange pumpkins rose above them like a living painting.
En: Bram walked in front, with Els and Koen following him closely.
Nl: "Rechts is beter," zei Bram, zonder echt te weten waar hij naartoe ging.
En: "Right is better," said Bram, without really knowing where he was going.
Nl: Koen lachte rustig.
En: "Let's just hope you don't get us lost, Bram."
En: It wasn't long before Bram realized the maze was much more complicated than he thought.
Nl: "Links of toch rechts?"
En: "Left or maybe right?"
Nl: mompelde hij in zichzelf.
En: he muttered to himself.
En: Els sighed softly and tried to look at the signs.
Nl: Maar Bram bleef koppig.
En: But Bram remained stubborn.
En: "Just one more turn and we'll be there," he said with confidence.
En: Suddenly, he made an unexpected turn into a narrow path.
En: Not watching where he was going, Bram stumbled over a protrusion and fell into a huge pumpkin.
En: With a loud rumble, the pumpkin started rolling, and Bram disappeared into the maze.
En: Els let out a scream of shock, while Koen burst into laughter.
Nl: "Bram!
En: "Bram!
