“Why, it's like a dream, a wonderful dream come true.” – Cinderella (Disney’s Cinderella, 1950)

“But like all dreams, well, I'm afraid this can't last forever. You'll have only until midnight and then–” – Fairy Godmother (Disney’s Cinderella, 1950)

So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect Him. (Matthew 24:44)

• Kingdom Moment:

Cinderella experienced a wonderful dream come true, but there was one catch. When the clock struck midnight, her magical evening would come to an end. And isn't that a little like life? We get so caught up in our dreams, plans, and everyday routines that we sometimes forget how precious the time we've been given really is. Matthew 24:44 reminds us to be ready because Jesus will return when we least expect Him. So today’s Kingdom Moment is…: You don’t have to wait until the clock strikes midnight to start living for the King. Love someone today. Forgive someone today. Spend time with God today. Don't let the clock remind you of what you didn't do. Let it remind you of Who you're living for and make this moment count for His Kingdom.
