Fireworks - Tales from Bark Mountain
Description
As the Bark Mountain Firefighters drive past the department store, Jake and the crew notices a bright sign advertising fireworks. The sight carries Jake back to his childhood, to the frightening day a firework burned him and sent him to the hospital. Everything had seemed out of control, yet the firefighters who arrived were calm, steady, and kind. Watching them, Jake knew exactly what he wanted to become.
Years later, wearing the same firefighter’s uniform, Jake would now be answering emergencies and responding to calls for frightened children, offering them the same courage and reassurance those firefighters gave him that night they responded to help him.
