The USMNT's youth movement is officially underway | USA vs. Peru Full Recap & Reaction (Soccer 9/26)
Description
Jimmy Conrad, Charlie Davies and Marcelo Balboa react to the USMNT's 4-1 win over Peru, as Mauricio Pochettino's first full cycle began with a wave of new faces. Eleven of the 13 uncapped players called into camp earned their first caps, and while Cavan Sullivan entered the night as the biggest talking point, teenagers Justin Ellis and Julian Hall stole the show with goals on their international debuts.
The guys go line-by-line to assess the performances, identify the players who made the biggest impressions and discuss what the new generation could mean for the USMNT moving forward. Then, they look ahead to Tuesday's friendly against Chile and what Pochettino could learn from another opportunity to evaluate his young players.
