STORM OF THE CENTURY STRIKING BEFORE MIDTERMS—SHOCKING SIGNAL FROM SPACE, ELON BUYING CNN??

A Category 5 hurricane named after a game invented in Iran is bearing down on California right before the MIDTERMS — is that a coincidence?

Joseph Z opens the broadcast tracking HURRICANE POLO, a Category 5 storm aimed at Southern California that broke a 112-year streak without an Atlantic hurricane by September 21 — and whose name traces back to a sport with roots in Persia, today's Iran. The timing lands weeks ahead of the MIDTERMS, alongside a fast-moving CNN storyline: reports that ELON MUSK could be involved in the network's ownership shake-up following the Paramount-Warner Bros. deal, tied back to a 2022 word about a coming "freedom tech" shift that began with Twitter/X.

Joseph Z also works through a growing THIRD TERM conversation sparked by Steve Bannon's comments about 2028, weighing whether a populist write-in movement or a "DARK HORSE" candidate — names floated include JD Vance, Marco Rubio, and Tucker Carlson — could reshape the field. Radio signals from exoplanet Beta Pictoris b, a mystery sound reported in Milwaukee, and the 2029 ASTEROID APOPHIS date round out the watch list for what could come next.
