At this week's UN General Assembly, President Trump threatened to “annihilate” Iran, and defended a worldview where, as he put it, “to the victor belong the spoils.” But behind the scenes in New York, diplomacy is also underway. Top US and Iranian officials have held their first talks since the June ceasefire unraveled, mediated by Qatar. And Doha is also at the center of efforts over Gaza, from the Board of Peace to questions over its past funding of Hamas. Christiane Amanpour spoke with Qatar's prime minister, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al Thani in New York.
