Ed Sheeran cancels US shows after Macklemore controversy
Published 5 days, 8 hours ago
Description
Ed Sheeran has cancelled two concert dates in Massachusetts, with organisers citing bad weather as the reason for calling off Friday and Saturday night shows. The cancellations follow controversy after Macklemore was dropped from Sheeran's tour due to his pro-Palestine comments, which led all of Sheeran's supporting acts to withdraw in solidarity. Ticket refunds have been offered to fans for the cancelled Massachusetts performances.
