Politicks Podcast: The Last Ditch Butch B'tch Bar Battle
Published 1 month ago
Description
The Politicks crew unpacks the chaotic saga of The Last Ditch, a Boston lesbian bar where a single mask-optional night sparked threats of firebombing from immunocompromised patrons. From there, the conversation spirals into universal suffrage, the radicalization of the Democratic Party, and Nikole Hannah-Jones sacrificing her daughter's education for ideology. Plus a Last Ditch bar update involving accusations of "anti-Blackness" and a debate on whether college degrees mean anything anymore.
