Tonight in Tullamore, Co. Offaly, Professor Gary Murphy’s new book Brian Cowen: Anatomy of a Taoiseach will be officially launched.
The book examines the life and political career of the former Taoiseach, including his 1,036 days in office during one of the most turbulent periods in modern Irish history — the financial crash, the banking crisis and Ireland’s entry into the EU-IMF programme.
Professor Gary Murphy joined Alan Morrisey to discuss Brian Cowen, the man behind the political headlines, and the decisions that shaped his legacy.
