Episode Details

The Saints have a major opportunity to prove that competitive football is back in New Orleans. Facing a 2-0 Las Vegas Raiders team, Tyler Shough, Chris Olave, Alvin Kamara, and Kellen Moore’s offense must start faster, establish the run game, and turn strong downfield passing into early points. New Orleans must make the Raiders uncomfortable before Kirk Cousins and a disruptive defense dictate the game.

Attention to detail has powered the Saints’ best moments, from Devaughn Vele’s red-zone release and diving touchdown catch to Juwan Johnson’s 26-yard catch-and-run and Olave’s third-down route work. Defensively, Brandon Saleh’s unit must force the first mistake, limit the Raiders in the red zone, and stay disciplined against an offense averaging 26.5 points per game. The availability of Raiders safety Treydan Stukes could also shape opportunities for Shough, currently completing 75% of his downfield attempts.
