Description
The WNBA playoffs are almost here, the NWSL playoff race is heating up, and the Connecticut Sun are saying goodbye to Connecticut.
This week on Women’s Sports Weekly, we recap the Denver Summit’s huge 2-1 win over the Seattle Reign and break down the WNBA playoff picture heading into the postseason. Then, we’re joined by women’s sports creator Kate Owens (@NotKateSports) for a deep dive into the Connecticut Sun, their 24-season legacy including pickle festivals, the move to Houston, and what the franchise means to WNBA fans and women’s basketball history.
