Episode Details

A monster movie that turns into something else entirely — we explain how Hope pulls it off and what that ending really means.

That creature feature/alien movie you've been hearing about with dodgy CGI and a "worst ending ever"? WE SPOIL HOPE'S PLOT, SECRETS, AND ENDING!

*Spoilers ahead (even in the description)

Na Hong-jin's Hope pulls the rug out from under you, and we're breaking down every second of it. Cupcake and WillDaBeast (Mike) are joined by returning guest Shawn Guerrero (of the soon to be released "The Rot & Reels podcast" with legendary Mike Cadaver) as they dump the tea on Korea's most expensive creature feature ever made: the alien reveal, who that tiny creature really is, and all of the movie's influences - everything from the Aliens franchise, Godzilla, and yes...Raiders of the Lost Ark.

What's that you say? "Avatar"-esque motion-capture work from Michael Fassbender, Alicia Vikander, Taylor Russell, and Cameron Britton, and Korea's biggest and hottest actors? Strap in for a wild and insane movie and episode!
