Penn State wrestling is about a month away from the start of the 2026-2027 season. We break down the latest news to know in a new episode of the Blue-White Illustrated Penn State wrestling show.

Host Thomas Frank Carr and reporter Greg Pickel start their conversation with the news that No. 1 Class of 2026 signee Jayden James will greyshirt this year while training with the NLWC before joining the Lions in 2027-2028.

From there, they move on to a look at the Lions' schedule. Head coach Cael Sanderson will again take his team to the Journeymen Duals in December. However, they have a new home this winter. Binghamton will now host the event. It was previously in Nashville. Penn State will wrestle the host Bearcats and also Oregon State on Dec. 20 in Vestal, N.Y. Northern Colorado, whom the Lions will host at Rec Hall in January, is also attending the event. Time, streaming, and ticket information will come out at a later date.
