Three South Carolina Gamecocks are officially ON THE CLOCK as Shane Beamer’s team prepares for a massive road test against Alabama. ⏰🐔

On today’s Locked On Gamecocks, Chris Marler is joined by Jack Veltri of On3’s Gamecock Central to break down South Carolina vs. Alabama and the players who need to deliver if the Gamecocks are going to pull off a huge win in Tuscaloosa.

The conversation starts with LaNorris Sellers after an up-and-down performance against Mississippi State. Is the criticism of Sellers justified? Could South Carolina actually reach a point where Cutter Woods gets an opportunity, or is Sellers unquestionably still the guy at quarterback?

Then it’s time to put three Gamecocks on the clock: LaNorris Sellers, Nyck Harbor and David Bucey. Sellers needs to rediscover the dynamic playmaking ability that made him one of college football’s most exciting quarterbacks. Harbor needs to turn his elite athleticism into game-changing production, while Bucey and the South Carolina secondary face a major challenge against Alabama’s passing attack.

Chris and Jack also discuss why South Carolina has to start fast in Bryant-Denny Stadium, the Gamecocks’ recent second-half struggles, Shane Beamer’s adjustments, Alabama’s vulnerable secondary, South Carolina’s rushing attack and the matchups that could give USC an opportunity to make this a four-quarter fight.

Plus, Jack gives his South Carolina-Alabama score prediction, and Chris explains why there are still areas where the Gamecocks could create problems for the Crimson Tide.

Topics include: LaNorris Sellers vs. Alabama, Nyck Harbor’s impact, David Bucey and the Gamecocks secondary, Cutter Woods, Shane Beamer, South Carolina’s second-half struggles, Alabama’s pass defense, key matchups and South Carolina vs. Alabama predictions.
