Episode Details

After five years away, Oli McBurnie is back in the Scotland squad and determined to make his second chance count. He tells Tom English why the recall meant so much to his family and reflects on missing out under Steve Clarke. How has fatherhood changed him on and off the pitch? What really happened in the old video that fuelled claims he did not want to represent Scotland?

McBurnie also discusses the insecurities behind his younger self, the lessons he learned while playing in Spain and why scoring his first international goal would mean everything.
