Episode Details

Daniel fasted for three weeks and nothing happened. When the answer finally arrived, the messenger did not apologize for the delay. He explained where he had been, and the explanation names something standing over a country. This episode works through Daniel 10 line by line: the twenty-one day fast, the collapse on the bank of the Tigris, and the sentence the chapter hangs on. Why "prince" is the same Hebrew word for Michael and for the opposition, and why that symmetry changes what the passage is describing. Why the Persia-then-Greece forecast matters. And the sentence seven verses past the famous one that almost nobody quotes. It also takes the honest position on the question everyone asks. Did Daniel's prayer cause the fight, or was the fight already happening? The text does not say, and this episode explains why the gap matters and what can still be built on the parts that are solid. With two firm guardrails: this is not a diagnostic tool for every unanswered prayer, and there is no technique anywhere in Daniel's practice. Episode 3 of 4 in The Spiritual Warfare Practical. Episode 4, Friday: operating in authority.
